Favorite Color: Yellow (and orange is second). He points to things and says Yellow and Orange in a really excited way all the time (especially yellow).
Favorite Toys: Trains and grandma's mini pool table are by far his favorite. He also likes stacking things and legos, marbles, and hungry hippos.
Favorite things to say: Gigi, gooey
Favorite Food: Cinnamon toast, spaghetti, McDonalds, hotdogs
Favorite Animal: Dogs. He loves dogs. He loves to say hi doggie, buy doggie. He also love tigeys (tigers) - we see the tiger mascot at the basketball games and he loves seeing it, giving it high five and pounding it with the tiger, seeing pictures of it...He talks about it all the time. This is a story Ethan used to tell all the time: "tiger. scared. daddy." (He was scared of the tiger but daddy held him). Then we ask what happened the next time and says "tiger. pound. fun." He saw the tiger again and pounded it and it was fun. He wasn't scared anymore.
Favorite Books: Billy the Goat's Big Breakfast, My first 100 words, Lift and Look Tractors/Trains (Violet's house and Who's Making that Noise and the Wild Animal World Blocks at 18 months)
Best Friend: I don't think he really has one. Mason maybe. He loves to talk about Mason's friends - Skylar, Trapper (Trappy) and Weston and Hallie. He likes to say their names when we sing I"m so glad when Daddy comes home" like I'm so glad when Trappy comes home.
Favorite Snack: fruit snacks, craisins, raisins, goldfish
Favorite Things to do: play trains, play with his pounding block, play chase, wrestle and tackle Mason, play hide and seek, help mommy cook and clean (sometimes he makes messes on purpose so he can clean them up). He also loves to go to grandma and grandpas and "play balls" (play with the mini pool table). He loves to watch Grandpa and daddy fly the drone and helicopter. He loves to see Ginger dog and swing at the park. He likes to play marbles and hungry hippos and perfection. He likes soccer balls. He is a big tease and likes to make people laugh and do and say silly things with Mason. He also likes to jump and roll and dance. He loves to ride on mommy's back while singing the ants go marching. He also likes to color.
Favorite song: I'm so glad when Daddy comes home
Favorite thing to play outside: swing, ride the motorized car, ride in his red and yellow car that he makes go with his feet, play in the sand
What do you sleep with at night? special blankets (regular baby striped one, new blue one, and big monkey one and 3 stuffed dogs and his pillow)
What makes you happiest? Being with Mason, mommy, and daddy and playing silly things. Saying silly things with Mason and playing hide and seek with him and chase.
What are you really good at? jumping with mason, climbing, cleaning (when he spills something he immediately goes to get a towel to clean it up. He's getting pretty good at talking.
Favorite places to go: Grandma and Grandpa's house
Interesting things about Ethan:
-In the winter time he hated to wear his snow boots. He absolutely would not put them on and cried and cried if we tried. When all the snow left, he all of a sudden wanted to wear them All. the. time. Now he won't wear anything else. When I tried to put his paw patrol tennis shoes on him today he threw them and said "no way. Want boots."
-Ethan likes to tell stories. He used to always tell the story about seeing the tiger. His latest story was "Daddy. McDonalds. Fries" (Daddy likes to take him and Mason to McDonalds)
-When he is really happy he hops and jumps instead of walking/running. His run is like a hopping gallop.
-He loves dipping his food in anything. It started out with carrots and ranch and now he loves dipping in general.
-He knows how to take all of his clothes off and his diaper off and likes to do that when he sleeps so now we have to duct tape his diaper on when he sleeps. One time mommy had to spend a couple of hours cleaning poop out of his blankets, off his crib and wall, floor.
-He loves to go in the pantry and get food on his own and play with and make a mess with all of the bags, paper plates, cups, etc.
-He loves to play ball with mason
