2015 Year in Review

I'm playing catch up big time, so here are a ton of fun picture and they are probably not in any order at all!

We had so much fun going to the pumpkin patch with some of our best friends Andrew, Amber, Abby, and Alex Falcon!

Grandpa Clarke visits! 4 generations in this pic!

We had a lot of fun visiting Grammie and Grandpa in Seattle over the summer! We went to Chuck E Cheese, went on some fun hikes, went on a real train ride, visited Portland together, went to a cool wildlife preserve, and indoor aquatic center...

On the Train! Mason was in the "I love trains" stage during this time so he was so excited!

We loved going to the indoor aquatic center with Grammie and Grandpa

We went to the local Pumpkin patch for Mason's preschool (us mom's rotated having preschool at our houses) field trip. Ethan came too. We did the corn maze, went on a hay ride and picked pumpkins, climbed on the hay towers and jumped on the hay trampolines, and played in the corn pits.

Mason loved helping his Daddy build things

We loved spending time in this little pool over the summer!

Ethan's room all ready!

Our campouts in the backyard never actually made it into bedtime, but they were fun anyway!

Mason's getting ready for his first Triathlon

Getting ready for the swim - Mason's so tough and so excited!

Triathlon again

Enjoying the summer with Abby Falcon

Mason picked everyone's Halloween costumes this year. He wanted Daddy to be a paramedic, me to be a police woman, and him to be a firefighter. We had fun with our costumes!

Mason loved running just like his daddy - even wearing Daddy's hat, vest,  and running pack

Ethan REALLY wants that ice cream cone. ;)

Brother Parrett picked us up from the airport in his limo when we got back from our Seattle trip. It was fun!

At the Cabin for Chad's first 100 mile race - Yellowstone/Teton 100

Fishing at CJ Strike. Mason's first fish I think.

Making cookies for Santa. Mason worked really hard on his and was quite proud.

At this triathlon in Colorado Chad got lost and finished later than we expected. Chad didn't have any lights and hadn't expected to finish in the dark.  His GPS watch had died also.   We're glad he found the finish! This is Mason standing at the finish line yelling "Daddy, where are you?"

Triathlon relay in Emmet Idaho. Team 1: Garrett swim, Grandpa Buckner bike, Brandt run. Team 2: Cara swim, MIchelle Bike, Aubri Johns run. Chad did the whole triathlon on his own. Grandpa Buckner and I were proud of ourselves for finishing the bike section, but people were passing us like crazy. Guess we need to bike more! Us girls placed though (only because there were only a few teams, but we'll take it!)

Building edging for the front planter box

Christmas tradition - making gingerbread houses. The structure on this one really held up well compared to past years.

The "Iron Cowboy" James Lawrence did a 50 states in 50 days race where he ran an Ironman a day in each of the 50 states. Idaho was his 49th state and we came to see him.

Jeff was Chad's pacer for his first 100 mile race. I think Jeff arrived just in time to help Chad through the last 20 miles or so.

Ethan REALLY wants to watch Paw Patrol. haha.

Planting our first tree!

Chad and his Anime Club at the Anime Convention with Sean Schemmell

Mason's 3rd Birthday

Boise Fit One 5K Stroller Walk/Run. Mason ran almost the whole thing!!

We did the Fit One 5K as a family. Mason ran almost the whole time. We were super impressed.

Mason's Fireman Birthday Party - our neighbor Bob is a volunteer fire fighter so he brought the truck and gave all the kids a short ride around the block and gave them all fireman hats. Mason thought it was the best thing ever.

Ethan's first birthday. Unfortunately he wasn't very happy at his party and didn't even want to try his cake.

Mason caught the biggest fish on this fishing trip to CJ strike dam. I think Grandpa was jealous!

Mason LOVES running through the sprinklers

This was a really fun camping trip to ice springs (good food on the fire, hiking, four wheeling, spending time relaxing and enjoying the peace and beauty...). However, I forgot Ethan's pajamas and so he didn't have really warm clothes to sleep in. He slept in my sweatshirt, but woke up crying and cold so I tried to get him to sleep with me but then I think he got too hot. Him and I ended up spending a few hours in the van together in the middle of the night and unfortunately he didn't go back to sleep in there. I think we will do day camping with kids that age from now on.

Glass blowing private lessons - date night. Very cool!

This was at Grammie's house in the middle of the night. Ethan wouldn't go back to sleep. Linda and I tried putting him in his car seat and rocking him, but he kept standing up on his own like this.lol. We were so tired, but it was also really cute.

Grandma found this at a garage sale and we turned it into a fire truck
